Update: Footage has been removed by EA.
Yesterday, 10 minutes of alpha gameplay from Star Wars: Battlefront leaked to YouTube. The unedited footage includes a match on the Hoth map. Hoth is a frozen wasteland that the Rebels used as their base until they were attacked by the Empire in the original trilogy.
The gameplay involves as many as 40 players (two sides of 20) battling it out. The PC alpha went live in July and the footage that leaked back then was immediately taken down. It probably won’t be long until this is removed from YouTube.
Star Wars: Battlefront launches November 17 on Xbox One and Windows. EA Access members can play the game almost a week early before any other platform. There is also an open multiplayer beta coming to everyone next month.
