Community is not just a word to a lot of us out there in the gaming community. It’s more organic a feeling of being a part of something bigger. A place where you can lend a hand to a fellow gamer in need or just a place to hang out and have fun. Being a YouTuber checking our comments and Twitter feeds we have a unique viewpoint in the fact that we get to see these acts of kindness from the community all the time. The community was a bit fragmented a few months back but now has grown into the strongest community we have seen. As streamer and YouTubers it’s great to see familiar faces as well as new faces all helping to build and shape this great community. Without those great community members whether it be in the chat at your favorite podcast, on Twitter sharing some great gaming information or just saying great new video we would be nothing so this week I wanted to focus on some great community members that may not get the recognition they deserve.
The first community member I want to start off with is one who is always on Twitter sharing his opinion and, during each podcast making everyone laugh with the amazing GIFS and that is Jamie Moran. Something you may not know about Jamie is that he also has a YouTube channel, where he talks and gives his opinion about the latest gaming topics. He speaks his mind no matter what backlash he might get.
The next gamer I want to talk about is one I’m sure you have seen a lot in the chat of your favorite podcast with his great wordplay on gamers names. He also has a great sense of humor making everyone laugh and goes by the name CHKN_SPAGHETTI. Something you might not know, he is a senior Information Science major, enjoys retro gaming, reading up on and playing all things Xbox, tinkering with home automation products, and drinking beer are some of his favorite hobbies.
This YouTuber is well known around the Twitter universe, always friendly and commenting on people’s tweets. This gamer I’m talking about goes by the name of Megabadseed. Always enjoyable to game with, very respectable and a great friend but something you may not know is he is a big family man, has much love for his wife and kids. His hobbies are weight training, Wests Tigers, NUFC and gaming on Halo, COD, MK. His YouTube channel is just as enjoyable and friendly as he is.
Last but not least the next gamer I want to talk about, is not a YouTuber but is, however, a very big part of the Xbox community. Always there showing support and trying to help out when he can. Who is this you might ask? It’s none other than Black Tiger. He has been a big support of many channels including Gamers Know Best, also coming up with a very popular nickname for GKB, The Governor, but something you may not know is he is an engineer. He enjoys sports, comics, cars and movies.
