Oxenfree to make its console debut on Xbox One

Oxenfree is the first game created by Night School Studio, an independent developer studio that combines some of the pupils from Telltale and Disney.

Oxenfree is a side-scrolling supernatural adventure game that mixes some basic platforming and exploration mechanics, while choosing character reactions in the dialogues, as well as some contextual interactions such as taking selfies and drinking alcohol.

The story behind the game focuses on a group of friends that sneak off to an old military outpost with no phone service for some kind of party inspired by the rites of passage and senior year traditions. It’s not hard to figure out that this party will go horribly wrong which marks the start of the adventure.

Besides the two trailers, presented below, there isn’t much information available about the game other than the actor that will give voice to the characters of the game. He’s already worked on some games such as The Wolf Among Us, The Walking Dead, and Tales From The Borderlands, all from Telltale Games, as well as Borderlands and its sequel, and Tomb Raider.
