After an unsuccessful Kickstarter campaign, developers Interdimensional Games are retrying to crowdfund their first person sci-fi RPG entitled, Consortium: The Tower, a sequel to last year’s Consortium, which they describe as a mixture of Deus Ex and Die Hard.
The game takes place in 2042, England and mostly takes place within the “hyper-futuristic Churchill Tower, an immense skyscraper in the heart of London” which is still under construction. Crowds have formed around the titular tower; “there are literally billions of people watching your every (visible) decision unfold.” The game features branching narratives, stealth or combat scenarios and actions that impact the world around you.
Consortium: The Tower will release for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. No date has been announced.
