Destiny’s weekly exotic item vendor, Xur, is back in the Tower once again and has brought along a range of exotic items for us to enjoy. This is the last time Xur will be in the Tower before Destiny’s second expansion, House of Wolves releases. This may be the last time for the next few weeks that the weekly content is from the base game and The Dark Below.

Today, Xur is located in the Tower, outside the Speaker, next to the balcony.

He holds the following exotic gear:

And upgrades for the following exotics:

From the list of this week’s stock, our pick for this weekend is the Truth rocket launcher available for 17 Strange Coins. Not only with a high attack value, this weapon has two perks which help with seeking and aim correction. With the upgrades, the rocket launcher will ‘aggressively’ seek targets, with projectiles exploding prematurely if in the vicinity of an enemy.

With House of Wolves dropping next week, we can expect Xur will appear in the new social space, The Reef. The Weekly Heroic and Nightfall strikes will also be based on content found in the House of Wolves expansion. We also recommend that you pick up some Exotic Shards, so when House of Wolves releases, you can instantly upgrade exotic gear to reach of the new light levels.

Also, remember not to stockpile exotic engrams for next week, as the contents of these have been confirmed to not include any House of Wolves gear.
