Duke Nukem games returning to digital stores this year

One of our readers was kind enough to provide us some information regarding Duke Nukem earlier today. The reader, who asked to remain anonymous, provided us a conversation with Gearbox Technical Support from earlier today about Duke Nukem. After replying to his support ticket, the reader was privy to some interesting, new information. Duke Nukem is coming back in 2016 after games were pulled from various stores like GOG last year.

Thanks for writing in! My apologies for the delay, we wanted to be sure that we did not communicate any incorrect information. There is not any big problem or change coming for the Duke Nukem titles. The removal is due to nothing exciting. Just paperwork formalities with account change overs. We expect Duke to be back available for sale in 2016. I hope this answers your question! If you have any other questions or concerns please just let me know! I’ll do my best to answer the questions you have.

A few days ago you might’ve heard that Duke Nukem games were taken down from various stores. It appears that they will be back for sale this year. While the time frame is unknown, it’s good to see that gamers will have a chance to play many of the classic titles in the future.
