Final Fantasy 15 glitch allows players to access unfinished areas

Final Fantasy XV is undoubtedly an unfinished game. From missing cutscenes to the feeling of entire missions or chapters being removed, FFXV is unmistakably incomplete.

A glitch posted online by YouTube user Fotm Hero reveals a lot more of the open world than what’s playable in the current form of FFXV. While some of this is merely just exploring the background scenery of a rather lengthy train sequence that kicks off Chapter 10 of the main story, fans have discovered entire towns that are just missing from the finished product.

The open world in FFXV is a big place to explore and this glitch doubles the size of explorable content, however, unlike the normal environment this out of bounds area doesn’t have any enemies placed.

Speculation as to whether these areas could be integrated into DLC chapters and therefore being in new enemies and even side missions that were supposed to be included does seem reasonable, especially considering Square Enix’s commitment to improving on FFXV with more missions, cutscenes and gameplay enhancements. While the rest of the world may not become unlockable through future free updates, having the team work these areas into upcoming DLC would probably be a better investment for the company.
