Ubisoft has confirmed in a recent video that For Honor, their hack and slash game with medieval knights, will have a single-player campaign. Previously, all gameplay footage shown from the game was multiplayer.
In the video, which can be viewed below, producer Stephane Cardin said that they constantly get questions as to whether or not the game would feature a solo campaign. He went on to answer those questions by saying “We said that we will have a single campaign, and I can promise you that we will have a solo campaign.”
Ubisoft has not revealed any more details about the single-player component, but it was confirmed that it is being worked on.
For Honor was announced at last year’s E3 and Ubisoft showed off multiplayer gameplay featuring samurai, medieval knights, and Vikings. The game came as a surprise to many as it was not expected or hinted at prior to E3.
The game does not have any release date yet, but it will launch on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
