A while back, Turn 10 had confirmed that Forza 6 would be seeing Porsches by early 2016, with no further details. Thanks to Forza Motorsport Forums user SpiderX20, we now have much more information.
Online retailer Amazon had just put up the information for the upcoming Forza 6 Expansion. We will be seeing Porsches hitting tracks on March 1, 2016 featuring 48 new events in the Porsche Anthology campaign. There will be 20 new cars coming, including the “1957 356A Speedster to bleeding-edge engineering marvels like the 2015 #19 Porsche Team 919 Hybrid.” We can also expect a new track coming, Virginia International Raceway will also make its Forza 6 debut in March with daytime, rain and night racing. Adding on to the already large list of new things coming, there will be all new Porsche themed multiplayer racing leagues, hoppers, and events. As if that wasn’t already enough, you can get Porsche exclusive Mods and Badges, as well as 250G worth in achievements.
EA originally bought exclusive game licensing rights to Porsche, so Forza Motorsport 3 was the last game to come with Porsche. But Turn 10 had made a deal with EA, which brought Porsches to Forza Motorsport 4, Horizon 2, and now Motorsport 6 in the forms of $20 expansion passes each.
You can purchase this expansion pass for $20 when it releases on March 1, 2016. You can also check out our review for Forza Motorsport 6 here.
