Halfbrick, the developers behind the popular Fruit Ninja franchise, just announced that Fruit Ninja Kinect 2 for Xbox One will release next month. The title will be available for download on March 18, 2015 and will cost $15 in the United States. Fruit Ninja was originally a touch-based mobile game but it later made the jump to consoles. The title released on the Xbox 360 and was downloaded more than a million times in the first year.
Fruit Ninja Kinect 2 includes five new game modes, four-person multiplayer, new collectible items, and many more characters. The title is a very fun casual game that utilizes Kinect well. It’s exactly like the mobile version except you have to use sweeping arm motions to chop fruit. Be sure to give this one a go when it comes out next month.
