Update: Microsoft discredited the leak and said the real games would be announced soon.

If a leaked image is to be believed, October’s free Game with Gold might include Outlast, Dead Rising 3, Alan Wake, and Evil Within. Outlast and Dead Rising 3 will be free on Xbox One while Alan Wake and Evil Within will be free on Xbox 360. I already own all of the games so I’m really hoping this is fake.

All of the games have been out for a while and they do seem possible. We’ll just have to wait and see until Microsoft makes an official announcement in a few days. What do you think? All of the games have horror elements and considering that Halloween is in October, there might be something to it. We’ll just have to wait and see. Hopefully we’ll have confirmation soon.

Also, remember that Mike Ybarra said that all Xbox 360 Games with Gold after backwards compatibility rolls out will be available on Xbox One. These leaked titles might not make it to your next-generation console.
