Larry Hryb has announced that Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved 2 and Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions Evolved are coming to the Xbox One backward compatibility program starting today.

Both games are multi-directional shooters where players control a small ship and shoot at various shapes while avoiding them. Multiple games modes are available that offer different challenges such as earning as many points as possible with infinite lives and a limited amount of time, earning points with no time limit but only a few lives, defeating progressing waves of enemies, and more.
