Rumours about Activision publishing a new video game based off of the new Ghostbusters movie started circulating earlier this year. Now, an article from USA Today has shown a trailer for the new game—which looks like it incorporates the gameplay we saw in the critically mixed Sanctum of Slime game—as well as detailing what we can expect from the title.
The game, which releases a few days before the film on July 12th, will take place after the events of the film and features top-down co-op gameplay, allowing up to four players to take control of new male and female rookies while the characters from the new reboot are taking down ghosts elsewhere in the country.
