To add to the growing list of backward compatible games, three new titles have been added as of today. Halo Wars, Soul Calibur II HD, and The King of Fighters ’98 Ultimate Match are now backward compatible on Xbox One.
Halo is arguably one of Xbox’s most important exclusive titles, so it’s great to see more of the series being added to backward compatibility. Halo Wars is a real-time strategy game based in the Halo universe. It originally released in 2009, with a sequel being planned for 2016.
For fans of fighting games, you can now play Soul Calibur II HD and The King of Fighters ’98 Ultimate Match on Xbox One. The fighting genre has a loyal fan base and these games will join others such as Tekken on backward compatibility.
