Xbox’s Kudo Tsunoda working on some ‘amazing things’

Not so long ago Xbox Division Head Phil Spencer mentioned that Kinect games Creative Director Kudo Tsunoda is set to step back in the limelight this year.

Being careful not to get ahead of ourselves, one would assume that they are planning on making Kinect… or a yet unannounced project a big part for 2015, considering it being in the forefront could we expect to see more unique titles or peripherals?

Xbox’s Games Marketing Lead Aaron Greenberg reaffirmed that Kudo Tsunoda is at least working on something “amazing” and that we will hear from him this year.

@PNF4LYFE @HammerOfGodz @TiC_Podcast Kudo is a great dude and working on some amazing things. You will hear from him this year.

However if like myself, you may now have more questions than answers.

Recently however, the Microsoft career opportunities website had some new ads appearing with a mysterious label “OSG.KUDOT”. These are simply acronyms used to show where the ad originated from or who it’s for. OSG stands for “Operating Systems Group”, KUDOT being “Kudo Tsunoda”.

The ads offer a sneak peek into what Microsoft are looking for in their ideal candidate, and thus what they will be working on. Both of the ads for a Principal Program Manager and Senior Producer mention the use of “cutting edge” and “Industry-leading” technology, within this it also clarifies that they will work on the production of a “product” not some abstract theory, but genuinely something tangible and in the works.

Nonetheless it’ll only be time that tells what they have in store for everyone, look towards the Windows 10 event on the 21st of this month, or further down the line at E3. These events will be a great time for them to showcase their efforts.

I’m certainly intrigued to see what they have under wraps, what do you think?, let us know below in the comments or in the forum.
