In a job listing posted on Bioware Montreal’s careers website, the company – now in the full swing of Mass Effect 4 development – are seeking a Senior Cinematic Animator, tasked with the goal of injecting some photo realism into the new gen sci fi opera.
“The cinematics animator must be able to create plausible characters emotionally, photorealistic or stylized, form that allow players to interact with the game in a realistic and credible manner. The cinematics animator uses these skills to bring a cinematic quality to the narrative of the game by creating sequences of cutscenes with a strong emotional impact.”
Mass Effect 4 already promises a return of the explorative space buggy known as the Mako, and have moved to reassure fans concerned about the addition of multiplayer that the single player campaign will be ‘MASSIVE’ in scope. So the wording on this job listing does nothing to satisfy my impatience to get my hands on ME4.
If anyone is concerned that online will take away from single player, I assure you that SP will be MASSIVE in the next Mass Effect.
