Microsoft has announced that its fall event will take place in New York City in just a few weeks on October 26. Expected to be revealed is a new Surface branded PC and other Windows 10 related products. The company is expected to make some Xbox related announcements as well.
It is believed that one of the big reveals will be an all-in-one Surface PC along with a Surface keyboard and mouse that have leaked prior to the event. In addition to the Surface announcements, Microsoft will likely discuss the future of Windows 10 across all of its platforms. Windows 10 is set to get major software updates next year which should be detailed at this event.
As for Xbox announcements, Microsoft is expected to talk about its strategy going forward and how new features in Windows 10 will affect gaming on Xbox One and PC. With Project Scorpio not releasing until 2017, it may not be talked about in great detail, although there is a chance that Scorpio will be mentioned in some capacity given that it was already officially announced a few months ago at E3.
The event will be livestreamed at 10 AM EDT/7 AM PDT on October 26.
