Update: Phil Spencer just tweeted that the announcement would come next week.
@kevcampbell I apologize. Looks like BC news is delayed and will likely come next week. Again, sorry for the delay.

According to Phil Spencer, more backwards compatible games for Xbox One should be announced this week. In response to a fan’s inquiry about an announcement, Spencer confirmed the timeline. I hope titles such as Fallout 3, Skyrim, Gears of War 3 and Halo: Reach are part of this batch of backwards compatible games.
@JoshLuck1995 Looks like you should hear some news this week.

Backwards compatibility is currently available only to Xbox One Preview members. Games like Mass Effect and Gears of War are already playable and more should be added soon before the features rolls out to everyone in November. Once the feature goes public, every Games with Gold Xbox 360 game will also be backwards compatible.
@Doomhammer76 First thing I’d like to do is get LO and Blue Dragon in back compat, don’t have that yet.

Apart from confirming the upcoming announcement, Spencer stated that he would like to see The Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon on Xbox One through backwards compatibility. These two are cult classics and I can’t wait to experience them again on Xbox One.
