Fallout: New Vegas is one of my favourite Fallout games and features some of the most fantastic writing in the series. Chris Avellone, the writer and lead designer on New Vegas, has said on Twitter that he is working on Arkane Studios’ reboot of Prey.
Avellone has also done work on a lot of other great titles, most of which are RPG’s such as Alpha Protocol, Wasteland 2, Fallout 2 and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II. While this doesn’t give us any idea of what Prey is at all, RPG’s are Avellone’s specialty. What we do know, however, is that if Avellone is involved we can expect the writing to be top notch. Also, Bethesda have already cancelled one Prey game due to lack of quality so we can expect this one to be good.
