As stated by EA and Ghost Games, Need For Speed 2015 will not have any form of paid updates or DLC. This is a very good thing, considering there are only 51 cars, I am glad we’ll be getting more for free. Let us hope that this new update will actually fix bugs, as last week’s update never fixed the frame drops that Ghost Games claimed it did.
Ghost Games said the updates would all be based on fan feedback, as they wanted to create a “living game.” Personally, I think this is an excellent idea as many Forza updates lack what the fans want. Seriously, who wants a Plymouth Prowler?
The update is due to release sometime in late November, here are its contents:
•An improved color picker
•Neons as a customizability option
•Mirror functionality
•Better AI, more balanced rubber banding
•Thirty new preset wraps
•More daily challenges
•Three new achievements
•A REP level cap increase from 50 to 60
•New Wrap Editor features
•Ken Block’s Hoonicorn and Morohoshi-san’s Diablo will be gifted at the end of the Style and Outlaw threads
•Early development version of the Diablo stated above
Need for Speed released on November 3, 2015 for the Xbox One and is due to release in Spring 2016 for the PC version, which was delayed because Ghost Games wanted an unlocked frame rate. Be sure to check out my review for more information.
