According to numbers provided to IGN by Ubisoft, Rainbow Six Siege’s “daily player total is higher today than it was when we first shipped the game nine months ago.”
According to the report, the actual number of daily active users is up 40%, and the spike comes on the heels of the new content update, Skull Rain, which went live last week. A new anti-cheat system has also gone into effect so that might be why many players are coming back and new players are joining the game. Additionally, massive discounts also took place across various platforms recently with Xbox Live gamers getting access to the title for free for awhile.
It’s great that the title’s initial problems have been addressed and it’s doing so well.
