Rockstar just announced that it will introduce the Rockstar Editor to the Xbox One version of Grand Theft Auto 5 in the next update. The studio stated, “The upcoming launch of the Rockstar Editor for…Xbox One as the next update to Grand Theft Auto 5 and GTA Online means the next Rockstar Editor contest will be the first one with entries across all three platforms.”
The Rockstar Editor is a feature that allows players to record, edit, and share gameplay videos. The built-in program is a comprehensive set of tools ranging from filters and camera modes, to audio tweaks and depth of field effects. The Rockstar Editor also includes a Director Mode which allows users to stage sequences using characters, props, and locations from the game.
For those wondering about sales, on August 10 Take-Two announced that Grand Theft Auto 5 shipped more than 54 million copies worldwide.
