Update: The latest update brought it over to the right. It also removed fixed names from apps.

The New Xbox One Experience in preview currently snaps apps on the left, where as the old interface snaps apps on the right. With each user having their personal preference, Xbox may decide to add the option to choose which side your apps are snapped.
