Tactical shooter Kinetik may come to Xbox One

Hero Machine Studios opened their Kickstarter campaign for the upcoming tactical shooter Kinetik. The game features massively destructible environments. Hero Machine Studios was formed by veteran developers Mat Broome and Kevin McPherson, both of whom worked on franchises like Everquest and Planetside. Mat also has fourteen years of experience mainly working at Sony Online Entertainment (Daybreak Studios). He has also worked on H1Z1, the survival horror game.

The focus of the game is hardcore multiplayer co-op gameplay, and they released the Kickstarter as a method to gain insights from the average gamer, by offering early access through the Kickstarter reward tiers. The developer is asking for $150,000 in funds to get the game off the ground. This isn’t too bad of a request, with games like Fable Fortunes asking for $250,000 in comparison.

The game which is planned to be released on Xbox One, and other platforms, with early access on Steam, have several stretch goals ranging from Last Man Standing multiplayer modes to additional gear in the game, can be achieved by an additional $25,000 on top of the required amount.

The game is expected to launch around holiday 2017.
