Team17 has released a reveal trailer for The Escapists 2 which is set to release in 2017. In addition to the trailer, Team17 has also provided details about the upcoming sequel. The Escapists is a strategy game presented in a top-down perspective where the player takes on the role of a inmate who must escape prison. In The Escapists 2, players will be able to play against one another either locally or online.

The Escapists 2 is scheduled to release sometime in 2017 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
