Ever since the latest Xbox One Preview update came out, there have been a lot of complaints that games don’t install, get stuck in the download queue and that game installations keep on stopping for no reason. While I initially thought this was due to an issue with Xbox Live servers or my internet connection, I now know that it’s actually due to quite a significant bug in the latest update. According to Brad Rossetti from the Xbox Team over at Microsoft, a fix it on the way. He shared this news on Twitter recently.
We are busy prepping a Preview build that fixes the Games not installing/stuck in queue/game installations stopping. ETA Monday!

Luckily we won’t have to wait for the patch for a long time because it’s coming out hopefully Monday. I’m guessing it’ll be released at around 9 PM as always. I can’t tell you how many problems I’ve had with this so I’m glad it’s getting addressed.
