Microsoft have pushed updates to a large range of their apps today, many which are main applications that come pre-installed with Windows 10 Mobile. It appears that few user facing changes have been implemented, therefore it is assumed they are being rolled out to correct small bugs and improve performance across devices running Windows 10 Mobile preview builds.
With Windows 10 launching in under a week, it is likely they are polishing up apps in time for the release. While Windows 10 Mobile’s release is planned for later in the year, the PC release could influence more users to try the experience on phones. At this point in time only the Photos app seems to have received a visual update, altering the Live Tile animation. No significant features appear to have been added.
The following apps have received updates:
- Camera
- Photos
- Voice Recorder
- Outlook Mail
- Outlook Calendar
- Groove Music
- Xbox
- Windows Alarms and Clock
- MSN Weather
- MSN Money
