343 Industries are currently in the midst of celebrating 15 whole years of Halo. To celebrate, 343 have added some all-new content to Halo 5: Guardians.
As part of the celebrations, Halo 5 players can expect brand new REQ packs which includes he original Halo CE Magnum, Halo 2 Beam Rifle, the Halo 2 SPNKR Rocket Launcher and the original Mark IV armor and helmet.
Also coming to Halo 5 is a new Anniversary Throwback Playlist which includes perfectly recreated maps from Halo 1 and Halo 2 in Halo 5’s Forge engine. Players will be able to replay Rat Race, Damnation, Chill Out, Battle Creek, Prisoner and my all-time favorite map, Hang ‘Em High.
Also coming are brand new Halo gamerpics for your Xbox which should be available right now for free. Halo fans can also download these high-quality images off Halo Waypoint to use for whatever they want. Check out the full post here for more details and a link to the images.
