The release date for Cyanide’s Warhammer themed sports game, Blood Bowl 2 has been officially announced for all planned platforms. Focus Home International announced the revised date for the title via a new trailer, after being delayed, and pushed for further polish and optimisation. The game will now be available September 22 on Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC.
The game takes its themes from the popular board game, Blood Bowl, from Games Workshop. The game will combine the classic American football style with the violent Warhammer universe.
All of those who have preordered Blood Bowl 2 will also receive a new race to apologise for the delay:
“As a thank you for your support and patience, players will receive an extra Blood Bowl 2 race (including its own AI, design, skills, and their Star Players): the Lizardmen or the Wood Elves during pre-order campaign on consoles and PC.”
