Keeping that in mind, the stories still deserve attention so we’ve come up with the daily briefing to get you up to speed. They include a curated list of interesting announcements and facts shared by various developers which we feel you should know.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare

Aside from an update which increases multiplayer rank limits, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is also getting a double experience event until February 3.

The Call of Duty Instagram account also teased an image of a map which takes place in Venice.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered is getting a double experience event this weekend. It starts today and will last until Monday so you have plenty of time to level up.

Dead Rising 4

Xbox One players in Germany will be able to purchase and play Dead Rising 4 from the Microsoft Store on January 31, marking the first time a Dead Rising title has been available in the market.

Elite: Dangerous

Alien trees were discovered in Elite: Dangerous. While it’s not as spectacular as a ship pulling you out of warp and scanning you, it’s still neat.

Halo 5

Classic helmets are coming to Halo 5 later this year. The game is also has an experience boost currently which will last for many more days.

Hitman

Hitman is getting a new bonus mission titled Landslide on January 31. A new elusive target also went live.

The Inner World: The Last Wind Monk

The Inner World: The Last Wind Monk is a hand-drawn adventure which is absolutely gorgeous. We got a couple of new screenshots from the game. It looks like a painting in motion.

Kona

Ravenscourt and Parabole today jointly announced their partnership to bring their new survival-adventure horror title Kona digitally worldwide (Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and other PC storefronts). Kona is a game submerged in mystery and intrigue, one with a spine-tingling narrative and unflinching drama that unfolds building the tension throughout.

The story takes place in Canada in 1970. A strange blizzard ravages Atamipek Lake. Step into the shoes of private detective Carl Faubert to explore the eerie village, investigate surreal events, and battle the elements to survive.

Minecraft

Minecraft is getting a significant update on Xbox One which fixes a lot of annoying bugs. For example, cooked birds wouldn’t drop food and so on. Many of those issues have been rectified.

Steep

Ubisoft announced that Steep, the skiing, snowboarding, wing-suiting and paragliding adventure, is getting Update 1.04. This new update brings a new level of online competitiveness to the game by introducing Steep World Tour Tournament, two new types of Challenges, and reveals that the new free Alaska map will be released on February 10, 2017.

Titanfall 2

The developers are planning a lot of content in the coming months and we got a look at their roadmap today. You can expect new game modes, maps and more ways to customize your titan. Be sure to read the complete details here.

The price of your Xbox Live Gold subscription in Canada is increasing. As of February 28, 2017, the price of a 12-month Xbox Live Gold subscription will increase from $59.99 CAD to $69.99 CAD. If your subscription is currently set to auto-renew before February 28, 2017, you will be charged the current price at the time of your next scheduled auto-renewal. If your subscription is currently set to auto-renew after February 28, 2017, you will be charged the new price at the time of your next scheduled auto-renewal.
