Capcom Vancouver has announced that Dead Rising 4 will be getting new difficulty modes very soon. In addition, a Street Fighter outfit pack will be released to all players for free. With this announcement come some interesting tidbits of information about the game, such as that players have killed over seven billion zombies since launch, and have taken over three million photos.
Two new difficulty modes will be added on January 30 to make Dead Rising 4 even harder. Enemies will do more damage and food will restore less health. Weapons will also break faster, meaning that players will need to keep their eyes peeled while searching the environment for weapons.
Beginning on January 31, Capcom is offering a limited timed trial as well, where people can play up to 60 minutes of Dead Rising 4 on Xbox One. Both the single-player story mode and multiplayer will be available during the trial, with achievements and progress carrying over should players choose to purchase the full game.
A patch will also be released to address several bugs that the team has been aware of since launch.
