The Xbox 360 is still going strong despite all the focus on the newer Xbox One. With this in mind, and that the Xbox 360 is approaching it’s 10th birthday—I feel old—the people at Microsoft have decided to allow owners of the console the ability to play online multiplayer for the weekend, all for free.
It shows good initiative, and has the hope of pushing those who don’t already have an Xbox Live Gold membership into acquiring one. The offer is available for all regions which have official access to the Xbox 360.
