The long awaited reveal of Master Chief’s face is here! Except… It’s not in a game. A trailer was released today for the “Fall of Reach” animated mini-series that is included in both Halo 5: Guardians collectors editions. Among the many things in the trailer, we saw the reveal of what Master Chief looks like! No more cockteases at the end of every Halo game, we know what he looks like now! Honestly he looks like any other soldier so it’s not super amazing, but I don’t know what you would’ve expected.
Master Chief apparently has red hair instead of brown, which is how it is described in the Fall of Reach novel. Frank O’Connor has stated in the past that he he has “reddish” hair so I would assume that’s what they are doing here in the animated mini-series.
Halo 5: Guardians releases exclusively on Xbox One on October 27th and we will be giving away a copy on our Twitter page (@XboxMAD) from October 10th-October 27th.
