It seems as though we will get a graphical improvement with Killer Instinct coming alongside Season 3 of the game. The biggest difference is said to be the lighting system, which was already top notch but when you see the before and after picture, you will be amazed.

The developers of the game stated that it was “time for an overhaul”, and that “characters now composite into the scenes in a way that is really believable”. Judging by the screenshots before and after the lighting improvement, although the old game looked beautiful, this upcoming update will drastically change the look of the game for the better. The better lighting should also make for a more immersive experience. I’m really excited to see this in-game for myself.
