Update: The beta has been extended until October 1.
Rainbow Six Siege’s closed beta begins September 24 and ends September 28. From what I’ve played of the game, it seems like a polished and tense experience. It’s exactly what you want from a multiplayer shooter. According to Ubisoft, “The main objective of the closed beta is to test the online infrastructure & matchmaking with the largest number of players we’ve had in the game to date…Players will be granted access in waves to allow us to test server stability so we can optimize the player experience during the beta. We’ll be adding new people every day, so be sure to check your email regularly.”
In the Rainbow Six Siege closed beta, you’ll get access to 3 maps and 2 game modes as well as 14 character classes. There’s an event called Terrorist Hunt that’s open to those playing as well. Please remember that this is a beta and there might be connectivity issues and other problems. It’s designed to help Ubisoft iron out the bugs before the game launches on December 1.
