Remedy’s Quantum Break is undergoing engine optimization which will allow for even more polygons and objects on-screen at the same time. The confirmation came from the studio’s former senior programmer Petri Häkkinen who said he was currently revisiting his old employer to help optimize the rendering engine on Xbox One.
@A3rnout @MikkiRMD @remedygames If nothing else, optimizing allows having even more polygons and objects on the screen 🙂

Häkkinen said that the optimization would allow for even more polygons and objects to be present at any given instance. The game is already one of the best-looking titles ever created and I can’t even imagine how amazing it will look after this current round of optimization. The good thing is that we don’t have to wait long to find out. Quantum Break releases April 5, 2016 exclusively on Xbox One and from what it seems will be the best-looking title to date in my opinion.
