Minimalist platformer 140 coming to Xbox One

140—a minimalist platformer that was independently developed by Jeppe Carlsen—is now being ported to Xbox One. The game originally launched for the PC in 2013 and currently holds a 93% positive rating on Steam, landing at a very positive rating.

The announcement for the port was handled by Double Fine Productions, developers of Broken Age, Psychonauts and other fantastic titles, who will be publishing this version of the game. Double Fine will not be the ones handling the port, however, that belongs to Abstraction Games, the company behind the console ports of Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number, Duke Nukem: Megaton Edition and more.

In 140, players will have to pay close attention to the music and have a sense of “rhythmic awareness” to overcome the game’s numerous obstacles as the music will give players a hint of how the level will play out. The console version of 140 is expected to launch on consoles this summer
