Forza Rewards is a program Turn 10 Studios started before the launch of Forza Motorsport 5 and the Xbox One. It acted as a way to give fans rewards for playing previous Forza games. Rewards have been in the form of both credits and cars and has been a way to give players more in-game content on launch day. In Forza Motorsport 6, players will be rewarded on day one with a set of vehicles and in-game credits based on their Forza history.
Firstly, Turn 10 Studios are allowing all custom created tunes and liveries from both Forza Motorsport 5 and Forza Horizon 2 to transfer into Forza Motorsport 6. That means you don’t have to waste time re-doing your favourite designs or tunes. Just like your cloud-powered Drivatar, it’s all there for you on day one.
Next up are Tier Reward Cars which are given based on your Forza Rewards tier. There’s a total of eight tiers and each one offers a car you can get day one for Forza Motorsport 6. Rewards are cumulative and more tiers will be added when Forza Motorsport 6 launches. There’s a total of seven cars you can get:
• Tier 2: 2015 BMW M235i
• Tier 3: 2012 Nissan GT-R Black Edition
• Tier 4: 2015 Jaguar F-Type R Coupe
• Tier 5: 2014 Aston Martin V12 Vantage S
• Tier 6: 2012 Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4
• Tier 7: 2014 Ferrari #62 Risi Competizione 458 Italia GTLM
• Tier 8: 2014 Audi #2 Audi Team Joest R18 e-tron quattro
It’s not just Reward Tiers either, if you’ve played Forza Motorsport 4, Forza Motorsport 5 or Forza Horizon 2, you’ll also earn additional cars. Again, these are just added to your in-game garage with the launch of Forza Motorsport 6.
• Forza Motorsport 4: 2009 Ford Focus RS
• Forza Motorsport 5: 2013 Ford Shelby GT500
• Forza Horizon 2: 2013 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor Shelby
If you have VIP membership in either Forza Motorsport 5, Forza Horizon 2 or both, then you’ll also receive access to the LaFerrari and the Agera. If you got VIP in both, you’ll get both cars.
• Forza Motorsport 5 VIP: 2013 Ferrari LaFerrari
• Forza Horizon 2 VIP: 2011 Koenigsegg Agera
Finally, onto the in-game credits and you’ll earn these based on the number of cars in your garage on the following Forza games.
• Xbox 360: Forza Motorsport 3, Forza Motorsport 4 and Forza Horizon.
• Xbox One: Forza Motorsport 5 and Forza Horizon 2.
• For each game with 50 – 199 cars in your garage, you’ll receive 100,000 in-game credits.
• For each game with 200 – 299 cars in your garage, you’ll receive 1,000,000 in-game credits.
• For each game with 300 or more cars in your garage, you’ll receive 5,000,000 in-game credits.
That’s a lot of credits you can earn. I think I’m going to go on a spending spree soon in Forza Horizon 2 and Forza Motorsport 5. I’ve around 10 million credits in Horizon 2 and 30 million in Motorsport 5. I’m sure I could get at least 10 million in-game credits day one which would be a fantastic start for me on-top of all the exclusive vehicles. Definitely excited to have more to earn from Forza with the upcoming launch of Forza Motorsport 6.
If you want to learn more about the career, cars, locations and features of Forza Motorsport 6, I did a huge article earlier on that here. The game will feature three digital bundles, one of which includes early access to the game. If you want the info on that, I have you covered right here.
