COMMUNITY: Here’s our weekly roundup of great Xbox interviews and podcasts

Welcome to another installment of the community spotlight. Now, as gamers, we all enjoy coming home from a long day of work and turning on our consoles. Most of the time it’s about finishing that campaign or jumping into a quick multiplayer match with some friends. No matter what the game is, there is always a way to stay in touch with people on your friend’s list. This brings me to my point. In this community even if you’re not playing the same game there are always people to have fun and chat with. The one thing I love about the Xbox community is it feel like a family, whether you need someone to help you grind that last achievement that’s been bugging you or sometimes you just want someone to talk to. Gaming is a great way to bring people together, no matter the reason. With that being said here are two great ways to jump into some gaming and make some new friends in this great Xbox community!

Community Events

Community game time’s sole purpose is to bring the Xbox gaming community together. A poll is set out each week so that the community of gamers can decide what game we play on a community game night. It’s a great way to get the community involved, after all, it’s for the community. This week was no different as the game of choice was Titanfall. It had an amazing turnout with two full groups of twelve and a full party chat. Sadly, as expected, not everyone gets in at first because we’re limited by the game size. That does not mean you can’t play. As I stated before we have a great community that was willing to swap in and out of games to let others play. Also, not forgetting the gamers at work or those who just can’t join in, there is a livestream they can view and have fun in the chat. This event is brought to you by the Console Corner Podcast hosted by GKB and myself with the help of other Console Corner members joining in on a regular basis like Fox Fire and Brewtal Knight. It’s held on Saturday nights and all Xbox Live members are welcome and it always starts at 9:30 PM EST.

Next, we have another gaming event that is held on Thursdays, again only on Xbox One! While on his Twitch stream interacting with gamers not playing Asthmattic117 brings a great deal of charisma to his streams and always answers viewers’ questions, making this a great night of fun for everyone. Times do vary and also like to switch up the game halfway through the stream. Asthmattic117’s community streams are Thursday nights, so watch Twitter for future details on the next game time.

Much like the Xbox community podcasters or YouTubers, these bunch of guys helps bring more gamers’ designs to reality each day. Bring that persona to life, with the imagination and ideas with design and art. The amazing designers Jay William aka Graphic God, Vexium Swift, MannyTattooArtist and Shaun LaBriet help the community a lot.
