Rocksteady’s newest Batman game, Batman: Arkham Knight is now starting to release worldwide on Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC. This is the last installment of the Batman Arkham games, after 2013’s Batman: Arkham Origins. The game is set in Gotham City, which is used to deliver an open world experience. The gameplay is similar to that found in previous titles in the series, focusing on third person combat, stealth and gadgets. Arkham Knight is already receiving high review scores across the board.
The game is available from June 23rd at all major retailers, and available right now to pre-load from the Xbox Store. The Batman: Arkham Knight Pre-order Edition costs $59.99 when purchased through Xbox Live, and has a download size of 44.98GB. If you pre-ordered the Batmobile Edition, it has now been cancelled due to low quality products found in the package.
A day one patch may also launch soon, which is reportedly 3.5GB on Playstation 4. No update has been detailed for Xbox One or PC, however is more than likely now that the PS4 has a patch. The day one download supposedly adds ‘Rival Points’, support for future expansions and performance/stability fixes and improvements.
Along with the launch, a new trailer has been posted online. Make sure to watch it below!
