Castle Crashers Remastered releases September 9 on Xbox One, free for existing Xbox 360 owners for limited time

The Behemoth have confirmed that Castle Crashers will come to Xbox One on September 9 and will cost $14.99. However, for those who already own the game on Xbox 360, you can get the remastered edition for free until September 20. After that day, who ever owns the games on Xbox 360 will be able to buy it for $5.

Among the new features of Castle Crasher Remastered are the improved high quality textures, improved graphics with 60 FPS, compared to the original 30 FPS. They also fixed some of the bugs found in the original Xbox 360 game and improved the gameplay.

As for new content there’s going to be a new multiplayer mini-game called Back Off Barbarian. The Behemoth also confirmed that the original version of Castle Crasher will be available through the backwards compatibility once the feature goes live in November this year.
