Correction: The beta launches October 2 and ends October 5.
Electronic Arts and Ghost Games issued a press release announcing a closed beta for upcoming Need for Speed on Xbox One. The closed beta is scheduled to start on October 5.
According to EA and Ghost Games, the beta will come with plenty of content for fans to feast their eyes on, as they affirm that players “will not be disappointed by the amount of content” and that they are exited to show, and give the fans the opportunity to see for their own, what they’ve been working on. The beta will also act as a way to give feedback to Ghost Games about their new game…that may go from problems to new ideas.
This beta may also have the objective to stress test the servers, due to most of the games that have the “always online” requirement being unstable at launch.
To get access to the beta, you need to have an EA Account and sing up on the beta page. For those interested in being part of the closed beta, you need to act fast because the sign-ups will end on September 25. It’s important to remember that this is a closed beta so it’s not guaranteed that you will get a spot. You can register here.
