Every little piece of information we learn about video games can’t be classified as a story in itself. While we’d love to talk more about everything, the fact is that resources don’t permit us to discuss titles beyond ones we feel will resonate with our readers. Keeping that in mind, the stories still deserve attention so we’ve invented the daily briefing to get you up to speed.
Aftercharge
Chainsawesome Games announced their new project, Aftercharge, a three-on-three asymmetrical battle between invisible robots and a squad of invincible guards. Six structures called extractors serve as the main objective for each side with the robots set to destroy them, and the guards tasked with defending them.
Conan Exiles
Conan Exiles won’t feature full nudity on Xbox One. I believe this is a violation of Microsoft’s policies so they’ve asked Funcom to avoid that with the Xbox Game Preview version.
Crytek
SEGA Europe and Creative Assembly have finished acquiring Crytek’s former Black Sea studio and have now created a new team known as Creative Assembly Sofia. The studio was best known for the 2004 game Knights of Honor, a historical real-time strategy game. The team was picked up by Crytek in 2008 and renamed Crytek Black Sea.
Destiny
Bungie will showcase Age of Triumph, the final update for Destiny, on March 8. Many Bungie employees will make an appearance and reveal how the last update changes the game.
Forza Horizon 3
Forza Horizon 3’s upcoming cars leaked. You can see the list here. The car pack is also out tomorrow.
Mass Effect: Andromeda
Mass Effect Andromeda’s EA Access trial will have no limits in multiplayer but the single-player campaign will be quite limited to only a few areas.
Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3
CI Games, creators of the Sniper Ghost Warrior and Lords of the Fallen series of games, just announced that Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 will be delayed until Tuesday, April 25. After some internal discussion with the development team, a decision was made to delay the release three more weeks to complete some final implementations based on feedback CI Games received during the beta.
Grand Theft Auto 5
Today is the last day to transfer your Grand Theft Auto Online character from Xbox 360 to Xbox One or PC.
