Here’s your daily Xbox One briefing

There are a lot of small stories that come out about Xbox One each day. Instead of having you look at a dozen articles to read a sentence, we thought it best that we told you all about them in one place. Here’s your daily briefing.

7 Days to Die

7 Days to Die update 1.10 on Xbox One includes signs and numerous fixes for the game’s performance and other odd glitches. It’ll be out on January 24.

Controller

There’s a new old-school controller for Xbox One available on Amazon. It’s a third-party product but it might look interesting to collectors.

Dark Souls 3

Bandai Namco today announced Dark Souls 3: The Ringed City, the final downloadable content expansion for the game. This new adventure has players chasing after the Slave Knight Gael to the literal end of the world as he searches for the Dark Soul of Humanity. Dark Souls 3: The Ringed City will be available for download on March 28, 2017. It will cost $15 for those who don’t own the season pass.

At the close of the Age of Fire, as the world ends and all lands converge upon themselves, a lone adventurer descends into the madness of the earth and uncovers the secrets of the past. As players make their way to the fabled Ringed City they will encounter ancient beasts, a new cast of characters teetering on the edge of insanity, new armor, weapons, magic, and at the bottom of it all, a long lost city filled with new horrors for players to overcome.

Dark Souls 3: The Ringed City brings players toe-to-claw against massive beasts in a twisted descent into the bowels of the end of the world. FromSoftware has crafted visually arresting environments that evoke a sense of destroyed beauty and nail biting encounters that will leave players breathless for more.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided

Adam Jensen goes undercover at an augs-only, high security prison in Arizona. A Criminal Past, the second story DLC, is coming February 23.

Dishonored 2

The custom difficulty setting and mission select update is out now on Xbox One. It’s around 9 GB so be sure you give it enough time to download.

Final Fantasy 15

We wanted to make sure you saw the news that the Final Fantasy 15 Moogle Chocobo Carnival in-game event kicks off at 5:00 PM PDT today. Held in Altissia, the City on the Sea, the event features event-exclusive carnival games, water chocobo races, festive treats from the Square Enix Cafe and more. The event is accessible for both free and premium versions for players who download the Holiday Pack or Holiday Pack+, and will run until February 20.

Ghost Recon Wildlands

Mass Effect: Andromeda

The game will get a 10-hour free trial for EA Access members on March 15.

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4’s Road to Boruto expansion is coming very soon. Experience an all new adventure staring the son of the seventh Hokage. Take on the role of Boruto and experience his journey as you meet up with new characters including Sarada, Mitsuki and others. The Road to Boruto expansion also includes new playable fighters, extra costumes, the return of Spectator Mode, plus an all new story setting! Road to Boruto will be available on February 3, 2017 on Xbox One and other platforms.

Overwatch

The game is getting a Chinese New Year event which will go live tomorrow. You can read all about it here. Aside from that, Blizzard is working on a Reporting feature which will allow you to tell the developers about toxic players who should be banned.

Pinball FX 2

The Star Wars Pinball: Rogue One table features ten story-related game modes, each one with its own set of playfield toys and goals.You must avoid stormtrooper detection in stealth missions, hold your own in firefights and combat missions, evade the footsteps of an AT-ACT walker, navigate the U-wing to shoot down TIE strikers as the ship’s gunner, and face off against Director Krennic and his Death Troopers in a white-knuckle multiball mode.

Rainbow Six Siege

A new map is coming to Rainbow Six Siege. You can probably tell the name from the title of the preview.

Resident Evil 7

Over the last four days, Resident Evil 7: The Experience opened its doors to hundreds of willing, and brave, participants in London to come and survive a real life horror escape experience, all based on the upcoming gameplay in Resident Evil 7 Biohazard which launches tomorrow across Europe and North America. If you missed out don’t worry, you can have a sneak tour of the actual London house used in the experience in the brand new trailer. The game’s Twitter account @RE_games will post more pictures and videos throughout the week.

Speaking of Resident Evil 7, the game features a small 800 MB patch upon launch. The patch brings some bug fixes and adds support for future add-ons.

Xbox One

New Halo Wars 2 and Forza Horizon 3 Xbox One S bundles kick off 2017. Microsoft said, “On the heels of a record-setting December for Xbox One, today we are pleased to offer even more choice for our fans with two new Xbox One S bundles joining the line-up: the Xbox One S Halo Wars 2 Ultimate Edition Bundle (1TB) and Xbox One S Forza Horizon 3 Bundle (1TB and 500GB).”

Lastly, Xbox One Preview members should expect to receive the new update soon. Preview members are getting messages about the update on their consoles and Mike Ybarra just said that it would roll out in waves.
