The Deer God and Battlestations: Pacific are now available for free to Xbox Live Gold subscribers. The titles are part of the Games with Gold program which offers four free games to Xbox One and Xbox 360 owners. If you only own an Xbox One or Xbox 360, you should redeem both games. Xbox 360 games will be backwards compatible soon so you might be able to play this title on your Xbox One in the near future.
