A report came out earlier today by VG247 that Destiny would start selling purple ammo synths as microtransactions. A “source familiar with the matter” was cited. However, Activision has denied this and state that they’re simply not doing that. I honestly don’t know if I actually believe Activision in this case. I remember statements made by many individuals saying how microtransactions wouldn’t be part of the game but now we have them. You can buy silver for a lot of items. I suspect at this moment the company has no plans to introduce ammo synths as microtransactions but in a few weeks I’m sure we’ll hear that they’ve been added. Hopefully I’m wrong but we’ll just have to see.
Did they say the same thing for level boosters? They wouldn’t add them but then they appeared on the store?
