The game will feature 8 new levels with content and designs from the original creator Allen Blum III and level designer Richard “Levelord” Gray. Lee Jackson, who wrote the classic theme, is back to compose new music for the game as well. Jon St. John, the voice of Duke, recorded new lines for the upcoming title.
Gearbox is remastering it using their “True3D Rendering” mode which is capable of producing extremely high framerates. Much like Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, players will be able to switch between the updated graphics and the original 1996 graphics on-the-fly in Duke Nukem 3D: 20th Anniversary World Tour.
Duke Nukem 3D: 20th Anniversary World Tour will be coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on October 11 for $19.99.
