Fable 4 is firmly off the table for now, at least according to Lionhead Studios. With the upcoming releasing of the multiplayer/RPG game Fable Legends, many were wondering if there would be a sequel to the successful single-player experience. But in a tweet, Lionhead confirmed that they were not in active development of Fable 4 and were currently focused on Fable Legends for the “foreseeable future”.
Hiya @justinmorgan57 🙂 We’re not working on a Fable 4, #FableLegends is our priority and will be for the foreseeable future. Thanks!

The Fable series made its name with a group of quirky, well-written single-player role-playing games. Peter Molyneux had the reins for the single-player group, but with him now gone to pursue projects elsewhere, it would be interesting to see what a new one would be like. Fans of single-player experiences need not worry, you can still enjoy the world of Fable Legends with computer-controlled companions.
We’re still waiting on an official release date for Fable Legends but it might launch in October. More as we know it.
