The file size for Fallout 4’s final expansion has been leaked onto SteamDB. The file listed under Fallout 4 is named “Fallout 4 – Far Harbor (435881) Depot” and weighs in at a total of 2.68 gigabytes. SteamDB is usually extremely accurate with file sizes as it has on a number of occasions claimed it gets its information from Steam itself.
As YouTuber MrMattyPlays has pointed out in his report, Far Harbor is about three times bigger than Skyrim’s biggest piece of DLC when it comes to file size. The 786-megabyte download for Skyrim houses about 25 hours of content in such a small amount of data. While the increased file size could be due to the increased graphical and audio fidelity over Bethesda’s last RPG, players should expect a large chunk of gameplay from this final expansion.
