Far Cry Primal competition lets winner stay in French cave

Ubisoft has announced a special ‘Night in a Cave’ competition in order to promote their upcoming game, FarCry Primal. Reminiscent of Microsoft’s Tomb Raider themed “Survival Billboard” challenge, this competition seems to have a very niche appeal. A winner will spend three days and two nights in the Pyrénées region in France, first living in a hotel and learning survival skills before spending one night in a cave.

It’s pretty easy to enter, although the competition is only open to legal residents eighteen years or older from France, the United Kingdom, Germany, Spain, Belgium, and the Nederlands. You just have to tweet @farcrygame with the #cavebnb explaining why you want to win. Entries can be in the form of text, gif, or meme and are open until January 21st at 11:59pm GT. A winner can even bring along a friend, as long as he or she also meets the age requirement.

If you’re interested in finding out more about the competition then head here to view all the terms, conditions, and other important information. You can also take a look at this official trailer from Ubisoft.

Seeing as the competition’s sponsors are paying for everything, including meals, transportation, and lodging, it makes sense that only individuals already living near France can enter, however disappointing that is. Then again, this entire concept is pretty unique, and I’ll be intrigued to see how it plays out.
